Lake Skadar National Park Boat Tour & Wine
Lake Skadar is the largest lake in the Balkans and a completely different Montenegro to the coast: flat water, reed beds, lily fields and one of the most important bird habitats in Europe. The wooden boats can get into narrow channels that bigger craft cannot, which is what makes this worth doing properly rather than from the shore. There is wine from the surrounding vineyards, a pass by the island fortress of Lesendro, and a swim in water that is startlingly clear.
