Thirteen hours, and worth every one of them if you want to understand that Montenegro is a mountain country that happens to have a coast. You cross from the bay into the interior, stand on a bridge 172 metres above the deepest gorge in Europe, walk a glacial lake ringed with pine, eat lunch in the highest town in the Balkans, and finish at a monastery built directly into a cliff face. Start early, and expect to sleep well.
